Keep our Odessa branch moving. You'll pick, pack and ship valves, flowline and fittings to oilfield and industrial customers across the Permian Basin. Most orders leave the same day they come in, so accuracy and pace both matter. We are hiring two warehouse associates, and pay runs up to $25 an hour based on experience.
What you'll do
- Pick, pack and stage customer orders accurately from pick tickets.
- Receive incoming freight, check it against the packing list, and put stock away in the right location.
- Load and unload trucks with a forklift and pallet jack.
- Prepare parcel, LTL and will-call shipments, including labels and paperwork.
- Serve will-call customers at the counter and get them on their way quickly.
- Pull and receive transfers between the Odessa and Manvel branches.
- Help with cycle counts and keep inventory records accurate.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe.
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of warehouse, shipping and receiving, or distribution experience.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and to stand, bend and walk for a full shift.
- Forklift experience, or willing to be trained and certified.
- A careful eye for detail: part numbers, sizes and pressure ratings have to match exactly.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and simple data entry.
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.
- Authorized to work in the U.S., 18 or older, and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice to have
- Experience with valves, pipe fittings or oilfield products.
- A current forklift certification.
- Counter or will-call experience with oilfield customers.
- Experience with NetSuite or another inventory system.
